How to measure kids feet
Measure your child’s feet in the afternoon or evening, as they widen and lengthen during the day. It may not be easy, but your baby should stand during the measurement. Try placing the foot on a sheet of paper and mark the circumference (hold the pencil perpendicular to the paper). Then measure the longest distance with a ruler. Measure each foot separately to find a size that’s sure to fit both. Many kids’ feet are different sizes as they grow.
